Information we collect
When you call
Our call-routing provider records call details: your phone number, the time and length of the call, and the ZIP code or appliance you enter or mention so the call reaches the right business. If a call is recorded for quality or billing purposes, you will be told at the start of the call, as California law requires.
When you send the contact form
Your name, phone number, email address if you give it, ZIP code, appliance type, your description of the problem and your preferred call time.
When you browse
Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) kept for security and troubleshooting. If you accept analytics cookies, pages viewed, how you arrived and whether you clicked a call button.
How we use it
- To connect your call or request with a repair business that serves your area.
- To confirm which calls were referred, for billing between us and participating businesses.
- To understand which pages help people and improve the website (analytics, only with consent).
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Repair businesses. When you call or send a request, your phone number and request details go to a participating repair business so it can help you. Those businesses pay us for referrals. Under California law this may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and you have the right to opt out (see below).
Service providers. Our call-routing, hosting, form and analytics providers process information for us under contract.
Legal reasons. When required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Cookies and similar technology
The website works without cookies. It stores one small item in your browser (local storage) to remember whether you accepted or declined analytics, so the notice doesn't keep reappearing.
Analytics cookies (for example Google Analytics) load only if you click Accept on the cookie notice. They measure visits and call-button clicks in aggregate. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing this site's data in your browser. Declining doesn't affect anything else on the website.
We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended gives you the right to:

- Delete personal information we hold about you, with some exceptions.

To make a request, email help@sacramentoappliancecare.com with "Privacy request" in the subject. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and we respond within the time the law allows. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission.
How long we keep information
Call and request records are kept as long as needed to route and bill referrals and to resolve disputes, and then deleted or de-identified. Analytics data follows the retention setting of the analytics provider.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No website or phone system is perfectly secure.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes too.
